Every 25th of November, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, we are reminded that this serious violation of human rights remains present in our society, and that its eradication requires the commitment of all people, institutions and communities. At the Rafa Nadal Foundation, we embrace this commitment as an essential part of our educational and social mission.
At our Rafa Nadal Foundation Centers (CFRN) in Palma, Valencia and Madrid, we work every day to ensure that children and adolescents grow up in safe, trustworthy spaces, free from any form of violence. We do this through healthy leisure programmes, sports activities, psychosocial support and educational workshops that promote values such as respect, equality, non-violence, cooperation and positive coexistence.
We firmly believe that education is the best tool to prevent violence. That is why we work continuously with children and adolescents on the importance of equality, the need to identify harmful or discriminatory attitudes, and how to build relationships based on dialogue, empathy and mutual care. In both childhood and adolescence, guiding these reflections is key to generating lasting change.
Our centres also have a child protection policy that guides all our actions and reinforces our absolute rejection of any form of violence. We promote peace, equity and constructive coexistence, ensuring spaces where every child and adolescent can develop fully, express their emotions and learn to resolve conflicts positively.

25N is a day to raise awareness and make our voices heard. But it is also a day to reaffirm our belief that transformation begins with education, within safe spaces, through guidance and through the creation of strong role models. Violence against women is not an individual issue: it is a social reality that we must stop together.
