THE THIRD EDITION OF THE RAFA NADAL FOUNDATION AWARDS, DRIVEN BY TELEFÓNICA, KICKS OFF AND IS PRESENTED AT THE MOVISTAR SPACE IN MADRID

Spain, November 3, 2024. The eleventh edition of the Rafa Nadal Tour by Santander has traveled through the eight Spanish cities on the circuit (Barcelona, Seville, Valldoreix, Gran Canaria, Valencia, Madrid, Gijón, and, lastly, the grand final in Manacor).
Exciting competitions were held in each stage across the U-12, U-14, and U-16 female and male categories, and now the winners have finally been determined.
The Rafa Nadal Tour by Santander is firmly established as the premier youth tennis circuit in Spain, distinguished not only for its athletic level but also for its commitment to charity, with the full amount of registration fees dedicated to projects run by the Rafa Nadal Foundation.
In this sporting event, emphasis is placed not only on the tennis skills of the participants but also on positive attitudes and behavior, both on and off the court, through values-based activities. Four of the forty finalists qualified based on their participation in these values activities throughout the year.
After four days of intense competition and activities at the Rafa Nadal Academy, in which 44 finalists participated, the champions in the U-12, U-14, and U-16 categories were crowned.
The winners of the Rafa Nadal Tour by Santander are as follows:
- Anna Cabassers, in the U-16 female category
- Darío Carballal, in the U-16 male category
- Liliana Chetry, in the U-14 female category
- Toni Escarda, in the U-14 male category
- Caterina López, in the U-12 female category
- Hamza Mohamed Mahmoud, in the U-12 male category
