THE ORGANIZING TEAM OF THE RAFA NADAL TOUR BY SANTANDER TRAVELS TO AUSTRALIA TO SHARE KNOWLEDGE WITH THE RAFA NADAL TOUR AUSTRALIA LEADERS
As another step toward the international consolidation of the Rafa Nadal Tour by Santander, JF Fernández, director of the circuit, and Xisco Mercadal, head of the values area, have undertaken an enriching trip to Australia.
The main goal was to share knowledge with the organizing team of the Rafa Nadal Tour Australia, strengthen collaboration between the two countries, and continue promoting this sporting and charitable project in support of the Rafa Nadal Foundation.
During their stay in the Oceanic country, Fernández and Mercadal visited several Australian cities, attending different stages of the local circuit. Throughout the trip, they conducted training sessions and presentations focused on sharing the methodology, values, and experience of the Tour in Spain, while also learning firsthand about the specific characteristics and best practices of the Australian circuit.
The exchange of ideas has been key to identifying improvement opportunities in both projects. “It has been a truly enriching experience. We not only shared our vision of the Tour but also learned from the work being done in Australia. The common goal is clear: to keep growing and offer young people a high-quality sporting experience, always promoting the values upheld by the Rafa Nadal Foundation and Rafa himself,” said JF Fernández.
The trip also served to reinforce the shared commitment to continue developing this charitable event in both countries, with a focus on the positive impact it has on young participants and its support for the Foundation’s educational programs.
