XXXV ROBINSON CLASSIC GOLF TOURNAMENT IN AID OF THE RAFA NADAL FOUNDATION
On Saturday, September 6, the Vall d’Or golf course once again hosted the XXXV ROBINSON Classic Charity Golf Tournament. Organized by ROBINSON CALA SERENA, it is the golf tournament that has been held the most times in the Balearic Islands, since 1988. An event that, year after year, gains importance in Mallorca’s social and sporting calendar.
On this occasion, the fundraising reached a record figure of 180,000 euros, which will be fully allocated to the educational and social programs run by the Rafa Nadal Foundation in Spain and India.
The day brought together institutional representatives, athletes, and business leaders, who joined golf enthusiasts to share a day marked by a spirit of solidarity. One of the most anticipated moments was the charity auction, where exclusive kits donated by sports figures such as Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer were bid on, decisively contributing to the final amount raised.
The total raised —from player registration fees, private donations, and auction bids during the event— reflects the involvement of Mallorcan society, the golfing community at Vall d’Or Golf Club, and, most notably, ROBINSON CALA SERENA in supporting the Foundation’s social initiatives.
In addition to competing in a privileged setting, players and attendees were able to enjoy a unique experience at one of the island’s most iconic golf courses, where the will to help was present at every moment.
The closing ceremony culminated with the symbolic presentation of the check, during which Rafael Nadal personally thanked all participants for their efforts, reminding everyone of the importance of continuing to collaborate in order to transform realities through education and sport.
With this thirty-fifth edition, the ROBINSON Classic is consolidated as one of Mallorca’s main charity events. Through this series of tournaments, ROBINSON CALA SERENA has contributed more than 680,000 euros in support of the Rafa Nadal Foundation.
