Christmas Family Day at the Rafa Nadal Foundation Center Madrid: Fun and Positive Messages for 2026

Christmas Family Day at the Rafa Nadal Foundation Center Madrid: Fun and Positive Messages for 2026

Recently, we celebrated our Christmas Family Day at the Rafa Nadal Foundation Center in Madrid, an event that has already become a very special tradition for all the families involved in our project. This year, we had even more reason to celebrate: the 10th anniversary of the “Education and Sport” project carried out in our Rafa Nadal Foundation Centers in Palma, Valencia, and Madrid!

The day was structured in three parts:

  1. Welcome and celebration:

We began with a warm welcome message, where Rosa, the center director, recalled the project’s journey and its impact over the past decade. It was a very moving moment for everyone present.

Fun family activity:

Next, we moved on to the main activity. Families were divided into teams, and each member had to run to pop balloons spread across the court, sitting on them without using their hands. To add an extra touch of excitement and laughter, some participants became our “Christmas Grinches”, using pool noodles to prevent the balloons from being popped.

Inside the balloons were positive messages for 2026, and some contained blank papers for families to write their own wishes and messages, which were later added to a collective mural. Once all the balloons were popped, we moved on to the third part of the day, where we reflected together on the positive messages and decorated the mural.

Snack and fun for the little ones:

To close the day, we enjoyed a delicious snack of chocolate and sponge cakes. While the adults shared conversations and laughter, we brought out sports equipment so the little ones could continue playing and having fun.

It was truly a day full of joy, fun, and positive wishes, where the families of the Rafa Nadal Foundation Center in Madrid shared unique moments and left their positive mark for the coming year.
