A TOTAL OF 329 SOCIAL PROJECTS TAKE PART IN THE 4TH RAFA NADAL FOUNDATION AWARDS

Once again, the call for entries for the Rafa Nadal Foundation Awards has closed with great success, consolidating itself as an inspiring initiative in support of social organizations across Spain.

In this fourth edition, a total of 329 projects have been submitted, reflecting the strong commitment of third-sector organizations to education, social innovation, health and wellbeing, development cooperation, and environmental action—the five categories included in this year’s call.

Currently, the Lealtad Foundation team is deeply engaged in the process of reviewing and assessing all applications, following the criteria established in the official guidelines. This work, which will continue over the coming weeks, will lead to the selection of 10 finalist projects in each category.

In December, the Awards Jury, made up of members of the Rafa Nadal Foundation’s Board of Trustees, its President, and representatives from Telefónica, will thoroughly evaluate the shortlisted projects, including their motivation letters and organizational information.

Subsequently, between late January and early February, the traditional in-person jury meeting will be held in Madrid, during which the final voting will take place to determine the winners in each category.

The results will be announced in early February, and the selected entities will be invited to take part in the Awards Ceremony, which will be held in March in Palma de Mallorca.

Each winning project will receive a €15,000 grant, joining the list of 15 organizations already recognized in previous editions of the Rafa Nadal Foundation Awards. In total, €225,000 have been awarded so far, and with this year’s edition, the Foundation will reach €300,000 in grants to support outstanding social projects.

The Rafa Nadal Foundation would like to express its sincere gratitude to Telefónica, whose support and collaboration make this inspiring project possible, and to congratulate all participating organizations for their dedication and commitment to building a fairer, more supportive, and inclusive society.
