THE RAFA NADAL FOUNDATION CENTER IN PALMA HOSTS THE MEETING OF THE REGIONAL COUNCIL OF THE SPANISH ASSOCIATION OF FOUNDATIONS IN THE BALEARIC ISLANDS

On May 28, the Rafa Nadal Foundation Center in Palma de Mallorca hosted the meeting of the Regional Council of the Spanish Association of Foundations (AEF) in the Balearic Islands. The event brought together representatives from the foundation sector across the region and featured the prominent participation of Pilar García Ceballos-Zúñiga, President of the AEF.
The day began at 10:30 a.m. with a welcome coffee, providing a space for networking and connection among attendees.
This was followed by the Council meeting, where the AEF presented its ongoing work, shared recent progress, and addressed strategic topics of shared interest, including the DEMOS 2025 initiative.
During the session, Pilar García delivered a welcome address and outlined the AEF’s vision and strategic priorities, reinforcing the association’s commitment to institutional collaboration and the strengthening of the foundation ecosystem nationwide.




Several organizations from the island attended the session: Fundació Illes Balears Europa Barceló, Fundación Iberostar, Fundació Illes Balears Europa, Federació de Bàsquet de les Illes Balears, Fundación Othman Ktiri, Fundación Sophia, Projecte Home Balears, Fundación Nacho Carreras, Fundación Barceló, Fundación Yannick y Ben Jakober, Fundación de Solidaridad Amaranta, Fundación Rana, Fundació Pere Tarrés, and Fundació Universitat-Empresa de les Illes Balears.









The event concluded with a guided tour of the Rafa Nadal Foundation Center, allowing participants to see first-hand the daily work carried out with children and adolescents in vulnerable situations, through programs focused on sports, education, and psychosocial support.
