The Rafa Nadal Foundation and Robinson strengthen their value alliance with the successful Solidarity Golf Tournament held annually at Club Vall d\u2019Or Golf Cala Serena, in Mallorca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This sporting event, known as the Robinson Classic Golf Tournament, has proven to be a powerful tool for raising funds to benefit the Rafa Nadal Foundation\u2019s projects, transforming the lives of children and adolescents through sports and education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each edition of the tournament becomes an opportunity to unite sport and solidarity in an incomparable setting, directly contributing to the development of initiatives aimed at reducing inequalities and improving access to opportunities for the more than 1,400 beneficiaries the foundation supports each year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

MILLOR JUNTS SOLIDARITY RACE<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The race, of which Meli\u00e0 Hotels Internacional is the main sponsor, has three routes: 7 km (senior category), 3 km (youth category) and 750m (children’s category), in addition to Nordic walking. All of them run through the streets of the Nou Llevant and La Soledat neighbourhoods, with the Palma Conference Center complex as the starting point, and the Rafa Nadal Foundation Center as the finish line<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rafa Nadal Foundation and Meli\u00e1 Hotels Internacional, both organizations with a presence in this disadvantaged area of \u200b\u200bPalma, join forces with the desire to influence positively in our immediate environment, promoting the celebration of activities and thus contributing to the improvement of the neighborhood and the quality of life of its inhabitants.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

OLAZABAL AND NADAL INVITACIONAL BY PULA GOLF<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Rafael Nadal and Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Ol\u00e1zabal jointly promoted the creation of the Olaz\u00e1bal & Nadal Invitational. Held annually in Mallorca, all the profits raised from this Pro-Am go to solidarity projects, both from the Rafa Nadal Foundation and the Sport Mundi Foundation -the Foundation chaired by Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Ol\u00e1zabal-, with the aim of fighting against exclusion social.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the two athletes awarded the Prince of Asturias Award, top-level professional golfers participate in the tournament, who form two teams captained by Nadal and Ol\u00e1zabal respectively. Carlota Ciganda, Gonzalo Fern\u00e1ndez Casta\u00f1o, \u00c1lvaro Quir\u00f3s, Alejandro Ca\u00f1izares or Eduardo de la Riva are some of the golfers who have participated in the event.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We celebrate different charity galas to make the work of the foundation visible and to raise funds for the different projects.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ten years of transformative impact<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the occasion of the celebration of the foundation’s 10 years of activity, we organized a dinner at the Italian Consulate in Madrid with the presence of authorities from the community government, close personalities, businessmen and friends of the foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this private event we enjoyed performances by bailaora Sara Baras and singer Vanessa Mart\u00edn. Chef Dani Garc\u00eda was in charge of preparing the menu for the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The guests of the event celebrated with us a decade of transformative impact and joined us for a very special night for the entire team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paris International Gala<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the aim of raising funds for the Rafa Nadal Foundation Center -the Rafa Nadal Foundation’s first own project-, on May 23, 2015 we held our first International Gala in Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around 400 people joined us at this charity event that took place at the Hotel InterContinental Paris Le Grand and was in collaboration with the watch company Richard Mille. The Spanish ambassador in France, Ram\u00f3n de Miguel; the president of the ATP, Chris Kermode; the president of the French Tennis Federation and president of Roland Garros, Jean Gachassin, are some of the authorities who were present. Likewise, personalities from the business world attended, such as Richard Mille and Tommy Hilfiger, along with representatives and guests from companies such as KIA, Telefonica, Banc Sabadell, Mapfre, Nike, Babolat…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together for integration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continuing with the objective of raising funds to guarantee the continuity of our projects, on December 15, 2011 we celebrated in Barcelona, \u200b\u200btogether with Invest for children, the day Together for Integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of the day was to raise funds for different projects of both foundations aimed at the social integration of children and young people and people with intellectual disability. In the case of the Rafa Nadal Foundation, the proceeds obtained were allocated to the Integration and Sports program, developed in collaboration with Aldeas Infantiles SOS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

United for childhood<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On December 22, 2010, the first charity event of the Rafa Nadal Foundation took place. The Caja M\u00e1gica in Madrid was the scene of a solidarity match between the founding patron of the Foundation, Rafael Nadal, and Roger Federer, with the main and sole objective of raising funds for the projects of our Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The afternoon was full of surprises, among them, a small concert by David Bisbal before the match began. The man from Almer\u00eda also wanted to participate in our event and thus show his most altruistic side. Later, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer delighted all the attendees with a great match between them. That afternoon, neither of them won the match, but the only champions were the children for whom the Foundation has worked since its creation. The match was broadcast in its entirety by RTVE’s La 1, which gave special coverage both nationally and internationally and allowed more than 300 million viewers to follow the match live.<\/p>\n<\/div>
