Journey to the Roots of NETS: Inspiring Stories from Anantapur"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Last February, we traveled to India with a team from Movistar with a very special goal: to film a documentary that would show the world the real impact of the <strong>NETS (Nadal Educational Tennis School)<\/strong> project, which we have been developing for 15 years in <strong>Anantapur<\/strong>, in collaboration with the <strong>Vicente Ferrer Foundation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For a week, we walked through roads, homes, tennis courts, and offices to discover and share the stories of five young people who went through NETS and are now examples of <strong>resilience, determination, and personal transformation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Five Stories, Five Names<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are deeply proud to share the stories of <strong>Pallavi, Pavan, Manasa, Jyothsna, and Hari<\/strong>, five young people who grew up with sport and education as cornerstones, and who are now building their own futures in various professional fields:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pallavi Dommara (23)<\/strong>, currently a tennis coach at a club in Bangalore.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pavan Jogi (27)<\/strong>, a professional at the multinational consulting firm Deloitte, working remotely from Anantapur.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Manasa Besta (23)<\/strong>, junior associate at Wipro, a global tech company headquartered in Bangalore.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Jyothsna Nunna<\/strong>, data analyst at Regalix, also based in Bangalore.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hari Kishore (27)<\/strong>, runs his own tennis academy in Anantapur, sharing with others what he once documentary includes footage of their homes, workplaces, and everyday moments. It also features time with their families, memories of the project, and their reflections on what NETS has meant in their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>NETS: Beyond Tennis<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NETS is more than a tennis school \u2014 it\u2019s a school of life.<\/strong> A project created by and for families at risk of social exclusion in Anantapur, where the team \u2014 coaches, teachers, and staff \u2014 are local people, deeply connected to their community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to sports, the project offers <strong>English and computer classes<\/strong>, but above all, it promotes core values: <strong>the pursuit of excellence, respect, perseverance, self-discovery<\/strong>, and understanding one\u2019s own limits, both on and off the court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NETS is a comprehensive tool that <strong>educates, empowers, and transforms lives<\/strong>. class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Equality from Childhood<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the project\u2019s key pillars is <strong>gender equality<\/strong>. In a society where rural girls and women in India are not always raised to be courageous or have a voice of their own, sport becomes a <strong>true lever for change<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through tennis, girls gain <strong>self-esteem, confidence, public presence, and leadership<\/strong>. Thanks to them, this experience will be brought to life in a series of audiovisual stories we\u2019ll be sharing soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tonight at 9:30 PM on VAMOS (Movistar)<\/strong>, the first report filmed during the trip will air.
