No quieren irse a la cama, no les gusta quedarse solos\u2026 pero todos lo sabemos: tener un buen descanso, tanto en cuanto a cantidad como a calidad, es fundamental. Adem\u00e1s, los expertos indican que un ni\u00f1o que a los 5 a\u00f1os no ha superado sus dificultades para dormir bien, m\u00e1s probablemente padecer\u00e1 trastornos del sue\u00f1o el resto de su vida.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mientras que en beb\u00e9s de hasta 1 a\u00f1o el periodo de sue\u00f1o necesario es de entre 12 y 18 horas; de 1 a 3 a\u00f1os \u00e9ste debe ser entre 12 a 14 horas; de los 3 a los 5 a\u00f1os, entre 11 y 13 horas; de los 5 a los 10 a\u00f1os, entre 10 y 11 horas, y en adolecentes el periodo de sue\u00f1o recomendado es de unas 9 horas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La falta de horas de sue\u00f1o de calidad no solo se manifiesta con un comportamiento inquieto e irritable, sino que hay estudios que demuestran que puede comportar d\u00e9ficits en el aprendizaje, falta de atenci\u00f3n y problemas de crecimiento, entre otras consecuencias.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recordemos algunos aspectos b\u00e1sicos a tener en cuenta:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Hacerles part\u00edcipes de la propia rutina del sue\u00f1o nocturno. Hay que establecer la hora de acostarse y crear ciertos rituales y rutinas en torno a este momento del d\u00eda.<\/li>\n<li>Antes de la hora de ir a dormir, hay que tener un per\u00edodo de tranquilidad, evitando ver la televisi\u00f3n o jugar a videojuegos, por ejemplo.<\/li>\n<li>Escoger juntos un \u201ccompa\u00f1ero\u201d del sue\u00f1o, como un peluche o una manta.<\/li>\n<li>La temperatura de la habitaci\u00f3n debe ser agradable, para as\u00ed favorecer la conciliaci\u00f3n del sue\u00f1o. El colch\u00f3n, la almohada, la ropa de cama, el pijama\u2026son otros elementos que deben resultar c\u00f3modos y agradables.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Y por \u00faltimo una cuesti\u00f3n que genera debate: \u00bfhay que acudir cada vez que el ni\u00f1o llora, nos llama o se queja? Seg\u00fan muchos expertos, si lo hacemos le estaremos acostumbrando a llamar nuestra atenci\u00f3n sin necesidad.
