Todos los deportes, individuales o en equipo, traen consigo un riesgo de lesi\u00f3n, aunque es en los de mayor contacto entre los jugadores donde hay m\u00e1s posibilidades de padecer alg\u00fan tipo de da\u00f1o f\u00edsico.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La Asociaci\u00f3n Americana de Pediatr\u00eda (AAP) explica que la mayor\u00eda de lesiones en deportistas j\u00f3venes se deben a un ejercicio excesivo y se localizan en ligamentos, tendones y m\u00fasculos. Adem\u00e1s, los especialistas de la AAP se\u00f1alan que, en los menores, las \u00e1reas en las que se est\u00e1 produciendo crecimiento \u00f3seo tienen un mayor riesgo de lesi\u00f3n. Para reducir los riesgos, los especialistas americanos aconsejan:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">1. Tomar d\u00edas libres<\/span><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>&nbsp;El cuerpo necesita tener al menos un d\u00eda de descanso a la semana para recuperarse. Los periodos de descanso durante los entrenamientos y las pruebas deportivas pueden reducir las lesiones y evitar los golpes de calor.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">2. Utilizar el equipamiento adecuado<\/span><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>&nbsp;los jugadores deben vestir el equipo protector correcto en funci\u00f3n del deporte, &nbsp;y no por ello realizar actividades m\u00e1s peligrosas o arriesgadas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">3. Aumentar la flexibilidad<\/span><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>&nbsp;incorporar un plan de mantenimiento con ejercicios de estiramiento antes y despu\u00e9s de la pr\u00e1ctica deportiva para aumentar la flexibilidad.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">4. Jugar de forma segura:<\/span><\/strong>&nbsp;evitar los golpes y el contacto entre los jugadores por acciones antirreglamentarias, informando y reforzando el seguimiento de las reglas de juego.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">5. Si hay dolor, &nbsp;hay que parar<\/span><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> debemos cesar con la actividad si se siente dolor en el entrenamiento o una vez empezado el juego o la actividad deportiva. As\u00ed debemos inculcarlo en los j\u00f3venes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">6. Evitar las lesiones por calor<\/span><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>&nbsp;es importante mantenerse hidratado y beber muchos l\u00edquidos antes, durante y despu\u00e9s del ejercicio o deporte. Durante los periodos de mayor calor o humedad se debe disminuir o cesar la pr\u00e1ctica deportiva.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">7. Cuidar el aspecto emocional<\/span><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>&nbsp;Para evitar un posible estr\u00e9s emocional, en el ejercicio y deporte debe valorarse el esfuerzo, la deportividad y el trabajo realizado. Ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes deben ser recompensados por esforzarse y por mejorar sus habilidades, en vez de castigados o criticados por perder en un juego o competici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Casi tan importante como la realizaci\u00f3n de ejercicio f\u00edsico es la prevenci\u00f3n de posible lesiones.
